Theatre Sarnia Youth Program PRESENTS YOUTH PROGRAM SUMMER CAMP

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Theatre Sarnia is thrilled to announce that, this summer, we will be offering four exciting programs for young performers! Below you will find program descriptions, age ranges, and costs for each program. All camps will be held in the rehearsal studios at the Imperial Theatre, located at 168 Christina St. N. in Sarnia. To register your child, please complete our registration form.

SUMMER SHOWTIME PROGRAM

In this program, we will be putting on a show! All program participants will be cast in a role(s) and have blocking, music, and choreography rehearsals as well as learn about and create production elements, including costumes, props, and set pieces. This program will conclude in a performance on the Imperial stage! Our show will be INTO THE WOODS JR!

• Age Range = Entering Grade 5-12 for the 2025/2026 school year

• Dates = July 7th - 23rd, 2025 (weekdays only)

• Times = 9:00am - 3:00pm + an evening performance

• Cost = $450

SENIOR MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM

In this program, participants will explore a different musical every day! They will learn songs, scenes, and choreography from a variety of shows and explore costume, prop, and set creation. With all of these skills in their theatrical toolbelt, the week will culminate in a short performance.

• Age Range = Entering Grade 7 - Grade 12 for the 2025/26 school year

• Dates = July 28th - August 1st, 2025

• Times = 9:00am - 3:00pm

• Cost = $250

JUNIOR ACTING PROGRAM

This program will introduce young performers to the fundamentals of acting! Through creative games and exercises, program participants will explore many areas of dramatic performance, including character development, storytelling, improv, and more.

• Age Range = Entering Grade 3 - Grade 6 for the 2025/26 school year

• Dates = August 5th - 8th, 2025 (4 days: Tuesday - Friday)

• Times = 9:00am - 12:00pm

• Cost = $150

JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM

This program will introduce young performers to the world of musical theatre! Program participants will learn the building blocks of musical theatre performance while developing their skills in acting, singing, and dancing.

• Age Range = Entering Grade 3 - Grade 6 for the 2025/26 school year

• Dates = August 5th - 8th, 2025  (4 days: Tuesday - Friday)

• Times = 1:00pm - 4:00pm

• Cost = $150

Please note - all programs require a minimum of eight participants to run, with the exception of Summer Showtime 

which requires 12 participants.
