THE EMERALD HEIST
By: Israel Allen
The first class dining car on a passenger train provides a wonderful setting to meet Mrs. Winston, an incredibly generous person who is on the train to personally deliver her famed Rockefeller Emerald ring to a nearby museum. But when a thief attempts to steal the emerald only to announce that it’s already missing, the situation quickly goes off track! The intrepid Marshal will interrogate cast and audience alike until dessert and justice are served. This show is full of surprises that will have audience members on their feet — or in handcuffs!
SIMPLY CINDERELLA
By: Jacob Dorn
This bare-bones, cut-to-the-chase re-telling of the classic fairy tale is fast-paced and flat out funny! Overworked and under-appreciated Cinderella swings her broom at the Fairy Godmother, thinking she’s a giant moth while Prince Shubert would rather play video games than dance with a girl. The beleaguered Fairy Godmother manages to bring the two together, at least until midnight, while Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters wait for the other shoe to drop. This upbeat, slap-happy fractured fairy tale will delight performers and audiences alike.
THE DIRECTOR
By: Kristen Dabrowkski
Young director and self proclaimed prodigy, Miles, is trying to create his cinematic masterpiece along with his friends. However, his plans become foiled as soon as he says “action”. From mixed up lines, to interrupted scenes, to clashing diva personalities fighting for the spotlight, to exhausted zombies and everything in between, this film is sure to take its toll on all those involved.
NORTH POLE’S GOT TALENT
By: Lavinia Roberts
It’s just days before Christmas at Santa’s Workshop, and there’s still lots of work to be done — like getting the elves and reindeer in the proper holiday spirit with song, dance, and big belly laughs! Elf hosts Holly Daze and Mistletoe Merryman welcome judges Mrs. Claus, the pun-loving Ruby the Red-Lipped Reindeer, and Old St. Nick himself to judge the talent show in this reality TV spoof. Contestants Jack Frost and Snow Queen get a chilly reception at first, but even they can’t take the warmth and good spirit out of this friendly competition!
