Theatre Sarnia PRESENTS DIRECTING WORKSHOP
Theatre Sarnia is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a directing workshop this October, led by our very own Henri Canino (33 Variations, Girls Like That, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, 42nd Street, and more) and Jackie Burns (Something Rotten!, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Step Into Christmas, and more).
This workshop is intended for new and experienced directors to be either an intro or refresher course of all that being a director entails. It will explore all the functions of a director for both a play and a musical. We will discuss both the artistic elements and logistical elements of direction, including: show selection, script analysis, research, design, the production process, putting together a team, auditions, approaches to blocking, scene work, team collaboration, and more - the list goes on and on!

Age: 18+
Location: Studio A at the Imperial Theatre Rehearsal Studios
Please Bring: A notebook, a writing utensil, and water
Cost: Free for Theatre Sarnia members (pay what you can at the door for non-members)
