November 15 - 23, 2013 : JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
Theatre Sarnia begins its 87th Season with this musical based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis in the Bible. The show has little dialogue - it is completely sung-throughout. You will revel in the yuletide chaos as baby angels, church ladies, firefighters, the pageant Director and even the Herdmans discover the true meaning of Christmas.
January 31 - February 8, 2014 : THE MUSIC LESSON
Weaving together the music of Bach, with memories of the Bosnian war and the universal conflicts between teacher and student.
The Music Lesson tells the story of Irena and her husband Ivan - two musicians who escaped the war in Sarajevo to start a new life in Pittsburgh. Shifting elegantly from past to present and resonating with powerful music, this is the tale of two countries, two families and the way they teach and heal each other.
Though the subject matter sounds a bit depressing, it’s just the opposite. The play is upbeat and full of laughter and hope. Irena and Ivan throw themselves totally into their roles resulting in the audience empathizing with these two unique characters. The all American family they interact with through the course of the drama contrasts their Balkan flavour beautifully.
March 28 - April 5 , 2014 : LEND ME A TENOR

The opera is being produced as a gala fund raiser for the Cleveland Opera Company. Unfortunately, even before the star leaves his hotel room, everything begins to unravel. What follows is a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, farcical plot twists, double entendres, innuendoes, and constant entrances and exits through many doors. This madcap comedy is guaranteed to leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter.
